The Indian National Flag is an emotion that represents the pride and aspirations of the people of India. โThe Indian Constitution starts with the phrase, โWe the people of Indiaโฆโ and it the national flag which unites and integrates the stakeholders of the diverse Indian culture i.e., the citizens of this mother nation. In this Lecture Series, the students will learn about the various laws related to the National Flag of India, the rule and regulation related to its official usage, hoisting, half-masting etc. Students will be taught about the following Flag Law: 1. Flag Code of India, 2002 2. The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 (now, the Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Act, 2003) 3. The States Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2005
